Geiger was looking for an energetically innovative heating system for its new production hall. Required were a comfortable indoor climate as well as a minimum ensured temperature level of 17 ° C. It was also important that the hall heating does not cause dust whirls. The hall heating should be divided into four separate heating zones. A challenge for the installation was the small distance between the hall ceiling and the crane. Geiger found it with us.

Now, seven high-efficiency gas-infrared tube heaters heat the 2,383 m² hall area. The heating load is 27 W / m². The tube heaters receive an additional boost in efficiency through the use of the patented condensing system TRIGOMAX^®. The multi-shell exhaust gas heat exchanger removes the temperature from the hot exhaust gases and returns them to the hall via clean hall air.

The tube heaters are supported by 200 m² LUBI Wall solar air collectors. LUBI Wall is mounted directly on the facade of the building and leads the energy of the sun as warm air directly into the hall.
