Ceramic heaters
Ceramic Heater AK4: specially developed for industrial application
Technical Data
Wave length: | 2,4 µm |
max. radiation temperature: | 950 °C |
max. thermal surface load: | 120 kW/m² |
GoGaS has developed a gas-powered, medium-wave infrared heater specifically for industrial applications. By joining these radiators, the customer receives a homogeneous radiator field in almost any length and width.
The radiator type AK 4 works with a ventilated system, i. e. a fan is needed for the combustion air. The controlled supply of combustion air and gas enables a higher surface temperature and thus higher power densities than atmospheric gas infrared heaters which operate according to the injector principle. Furthermore, a finer, infinitely power adjustment in the range of 50 to 100%, based on the gas flow rate, is possible. The heaters can be operated with natural gas as well as with LPG.
Advantages
- rugged industrial design with corrosion resistant combustion chamber
- width and length deactivation possible
- fast heating and cooling characteristics
- low-emission combustion
- insensitive to contamination due to supply air filtering and overpressure
- suction cleaning for effective removal of e. g. water vapor and combustion products
Benefit
- low energy consumption due to high efficiency
- low operating costs due to the energy source gas
- long service life compared to electric IR radiators
- high evaporation performance
- lhw spare parts costs
- high system availability
